THROUGH THE WILD ALPS

About

500 km from Munich to Venice, a journey through three countries, three cultures, right across a great landscape, which is barely noticed by modern car and air travelers.

The film shows the most remote areas along an imaginary line between Munich and Venice.

In exciting sequences, situations are shown that take place beyond the conventional destinations in the Alps, such as people who dig for mountain crystals above an altitude of 3,000 m and put their lives at risk in the process, rare flora and fauna such as an Alpine salamander or "Ice Age flowers" on the Fanes high plateau, as well as spectacular natural landscapes such as the Vomper Joch and many other highlights.
